Hot Tub Surround
Turf Stone Paver Walkway
We recently used a product that I think is great. It is made by Belgard and offers the durability of a hardscape as well as the ability to retain grass or other plant growth. The Turf Stone in this application will be seeded and soon give way to grass. A finished material look can be found here.

I love working with natural stone. The characteristics of each piece add more life to a patio than a man made cement paver or brick. The stone used for this project is called Pennsylvania Pattern Stone and was supplied by The Stone Center of Indiana.

The first thing that had to be done with this project was to correct the standing water issue that had caused the original slate material to deteriorate. From one end to the other the pad slope was increased by 1.5″ giving the area the needed pitch to drain.
